Meet the girls who will you assist you through the recruitment process!
Rho Gammas are Panhellenic women who temporarily "disaffiliate" from their chapter to provide a non-biased and non-discriminatory recruitment experience for every potential new member! Before the first day of recruitment, you will be assigned to a Rho Gamma along with a group of 10-20 other PNMs who will guide you through the recruitment process. Each Rho Gamma was selected through an intense application and selection process and is your go-to gal for any questions you may have along the way.
Don't worry, we know recruitment sounds intense, but these girls were once in your shoes and can provide you any and all advice you might need!
Hi my name is Tina! I’m a second year Sociology major, and I am from Hollister, CA (no, not the store and no, not a beach town either (sadly)). I love going to festivals and listening to music, cuddling with puppies, and taking naps! Catch me watching Criminal Minds religiously while pretending Coke Zero is a food group. My favorite part about greek life has definitely been the amazing friendships I have made and the constant support I feel from my sisters.
I am going to be a 3rd year, I am from Chula Vista, California (San Diego County), I am a biological Sciences major with aspirations to attend PA school following my undergrad career, I love to travel and go to the beach, and I love Greek Life because of the life-long friends I have made through It and the sense of community It has provided me with at such a big university.
I am going to be a third year Psychology and Brain Science major from Camarillo, CA. My favorite thing about Greek life is the bond you share with not just your sisters but the women in other sororities as well! Joining a sorority was one of the best decisions I've ever made and I hope you will feel the same way too :)
Hey friends! My name is Hannah and I am one of the millions of kids here from the Bay Area. I'm entering my third year pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Applied Psychology. UCSB is such an incredible school and I am so beyond privileged to have had so many amazing experiences here, most of which I honestly give thanks to my involvement in greek life for. When I'm not in lecture or driving down DP thinking I'm in a music video, I spend the rest of my time at the Habit Burger. Yeah no big deal or anything, but the owners know me and my order pretty well by this point. Anyway, I am beyond thrilled to be a Rho Gam this upcoming Fall and cannot wait to meet you all and help you find your forever homes!
I'm a 4th year studying Communication and getting a certificate in Technology Management and originally from Dublin, CA (East Bay Area). I've never been able to form close friendships quickly in the past, but joining Greek Life at UCSB, I was able to form some of the BEST friendships I have ever made in such a short amount of time! Forming those friendships has made my college experience what it is today and couldn't be more thankful for it. I love playing sports (especially football) and I'm able to do those fun things because of philanthropies that other chapter houses plan. I enjoy doing well in school and it helps when you have people to always study with and a chapter house to always study at. And, I love being a leader, which Greek Life allows you to do the second you join. I am stoked to be a Rho Gam am can't wait to meet you all!
Hi guys, I’m Adeena! I’m a fourth-year majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences, originally from Moorpark, CA. I am so excited to be a rho gam this year, and I am so excited to help everyone find their home away from home! I can’t wait to meet you all!

I am a Sociology and Communication double major also pursuing a Spanish minor and the Technology Management certificate as well as the Business Communication and Law certificate! I am originally from Sacramento, CA and my favorite part about Greek Life is how unified the Greek community is as a whole, and how it has given me an incredible support system of amazing women that have my back no matter what. I spent this past summer studying abroad in Alcalá, Spain working on my Spanish, I have two adorable dogs that are my whole life, I love to laugh and to make others laugh, and I love exploring SB, shopping, and eating yummy food!

I'm a 4th year Psychology major, minoring in both Education and Applied Psychology. My hometown is a small town in southern California called Yucaipa. I love to workout at Corepower Yoga and go eat brunch with my friends in downtown Santa Barbara! One thing I love about greek life is the all the opportunities you have through being in a sorority. Whether it be the opportunity to make a change through philanthropy, or an opportunity for leadership within your chapter, or networking for job opportunities in the future, being in a sorority has so many benefits for both yourself and the community surrounding you.

I'm so excited for this coming recruitment year!
Hi! My name is Vicky and I’m a 4th year Political Science major from Ontario. I am so excited to be a Rho Gam for Fall Recruitment. I like to eat (who doesn’t), sleep (college is tiring), and my friends will tell you that I start dancing randomly when my favorite song comes on. Chances are if you’re reading this, you’re considering Greek Life so let me reassure you by saying: DO IT! As someone who is very involved in their chapter, I can say that the Greek community has made my college experience some of the best years of my life. I met my forever friends and future bridesmaids through this system, so if that doesn’t give you incentive, I don’t know what will! You will meet some of the most intelligent, hilarious, and all around best human beings through this process and make memories that will last a lifetime…I know I did! Best of luck to all of you and I can’t wait to help you find your home here at UCSB.
I'm a third year Psychological and Brain Sciences major from a small town in Connecticut. I am a fast food and boybands fanatic and enjoy spending as much time as possible trying to convert my sorority sisters from Starbucks to Dunkin' Donuts.
I'm a third year sociology major from Huntington Beach, CA. I love greek life because it's a smaller community of people you can call your friends in such a big school. It's great way to meet new people, in and outside of your house and make lifelong connections. I like to enjoy a nice cold Coca Cola and I used to run a 1D fan account back in the day.
I'm a third year communications major from Hermosa Beach, CA! I love greek life at UCSB because of it's ability to bring students closer together and give them a great network of friends and support. I also love scuba diving, and in my free time I go on lots of fun dive trips all over California!

When I’m not at the library studying, you can find me at the beach with my friends or at home binge-watching unsolved mysteries on YouTube. I love traveling, spontaneous adventures, hiking, attending music festivals and, of course, all things science! This summer, I spent six weeks studying in the beautiful Barcelona, but I’m excited to rejoin the real world and guide you all through the recruitment process. Joining Greek life my freshman year has made my college experience better than I could have ever imagined. I have found my lifelong friends, my support system and my study buddies!

Hi, guys! My name is Alex and I am going into my fourth year at UCSB, pursuing a degree in Economics. I've moved around quite a bit, but currently my parents live in Houston, Texas and Fresno, CA! You can often find me working at the Arbor- a convenience store on campus that you will soon find yourself frequently visiting for what's about to be your new favorite drink, Yerba Mate. In my free time, I am usually outside enjoying the beautiful Santa Barbara weather, or getting lost in hours of Youtube videos. Attending UCSB has given me amazing opportunities, including allowing me to travel abroad to Barcelona this past summer. However, my experience at UCSB would not have been the same without having gone through recruitment my first year. Joining Greek life has allowed me to make lifelong friendships and obtain experience through leadership positions, both of which have given me the support that I need to navigate my way through college. Going through recruitment is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I can't wait to help you guys find your own support system here at UCSB!

Hi I'm Hollie! I'm from San Diego and am a fourth year (yikes) majoring in Economics and Accounting. My older sister was in a sorority, which influenced me to join greek life at a young age. I can easily say that my college experience would not be the same without the people I've met and the memories I've made. I never thought I could find so many girls in one organization to have such a strong and positive impact on my life. Being in a sorority is more than having lots of girl friends; it builds character and creates a sense of professionalism, responsibility, and togetherness among members. I have been able to benefit in many ways from going greek, and I can definitely say I have found my home away from home!

Just knowing that I have a huge group of girls always there to hang out, show support, and constantly inspire me to try new things has made my college experience so amazing this far. Aside from all of the lifelong friendships I have made with the girls in my house, one of my favorite things about Greek Life is our unity. For example, we are always showing each other support and participating in each others philanthropies (I may or may not have been the philanthropy chair for my chapter) to raise money and awareness for so many deserving causes, which makes the Greek experience so much more rewarding. I am so excited for all of you to find your home, and join our UCSB Greek family!

Hi ladies, I’m Katherine! I’m from San Francisco and I’m a fourth year Film and Media Studies major. I transferred to UCSB last year from SMU in Dallas, Texas and it’s been one of the best decisions of my life. Joining my sorority’s chapter here at UCSB played a large role in making my first year as fulfilling and exciting as it was. While I may be relatively new to UCSB, I’m a seasoned vet when it comes to recruitment and sorority life. From my own rush experience four years ago, to all the girls I’ve mentored through it since then, I’m confident I’ll be able to help you have a positive experience and find the house you'll thrive in!
