Meet the girls who will you assist you through the recruitment process!

Rho Gammas are Panhellenic women who temporarily "disaffiliate" from their chapter to provide a non-biased and non-discriminatory recruitment experience for every potential new member! Before the first day of recruitment, you will be assigned to a Rho Gamma along with a group of 10-20 other PNMs who will guide you through the recruitment process. Each Rho Gamma was selected through an intense application and selection process and is your go-to gal for any questions you may have along the way.

Don't worry, we know recruitment sounds intense, but these girls were once in your shoes and can provide you any and all advice you might need!

Hi my name is Tina! I’m a second year Sociology major, and I am from Hollister, CA (no, not the store and no, not a beach town either (sadly)). I love going to festivals and listening to music, cuddling with puppies, and taking naps! Catch me watching Criminal Minds religiously while pretending Coke Zero is a food group. My favorite part about greek life has definitely been the amazing friendships I have made and the constant support I feel from my sisters.

I am going to be a 3rd year, I am from Chula Vista, California (San Diego County), I am a biological Sciences major with aspirations to attend PA school following my undergrad career, I love to travel and go to the beach, and I love Greek Life because of the life-long friends I have made through It and the sense of community It has provided me with at such a big university.

I am going to be a third year Psychology and Brain Science major from Camarillo, CA. My favorite thing about Greek life is the bond you share with not just your sisters but the women in other sororities as well! Joining a sorority was one of the best decisions I've ever made and I hope you will feel the same way too :)

Hey friends! My name is Hannah and I am one of the millions of kids here from the Bay Area. I'm entering my third year pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Applied Psychology. UCSB is such an incredible school and I am so beyond privileged to have had so many amazing experiences here, most of which I honestly give thanks to my involvement in greek life for. When I'm not in lecture or driving down DP thinking I'm in a music video, I spend the rest of my time at the Habit Burger. Yeah no big deal or anything, but the owners know me and my order pretty well by this point. Anyway, I am beyond thrilled to be a Rho Gam this upcoming Fall and cannot wait to meet you all and help you find your forever homes!

I'm a 4th year studying Communication and getting a certificate in Technology Management and originally from Dublin, CA (East Bay Area). I've never been able to form close friendships quickly in the past, but joining Greek Life at UCSB, I was able to form some of the BEST friendships I have ever made in such a short amount of time! Forming those friendships has made my college experience what it is today and couldn't be more thankful for it. I love playing sports (especially football) and I'm able to do those fun things because of philanthropies that other chapter houses plan. I enjoy doing well in school and it helps when you have people to always study with and a chapter house to always study at. And, I love being a leader, which Greek Life allows you to do the second you join. I am stoked to be a Rho Gam am can't wait to meet you all!

Hi guys, I’m Adeena! I’m a fourth-year majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences, originally from Moorpark, CA. I’m always down for good food, good coffee, freaking out over cute puppies, and a stroll along campus point with my friends! Joining greek life has brought me the most genuine friendships, priceless memories, and amazing opportunities. I am so excited to be a rho gam this year, and I am so excited to help everyone find their home away from home! I can’t wait to meet you all!

I am a Junior Econ major from Marin County, California. My favorite thing about greek life is that it brought me my best friends and that I always have someone to talk to! My favorite foods are sushi, salami, and pickles. I love to snowski and go to the pool, and I have a dog from the Turks and Caicos named Coco!

Hi everyone, my name is Kylie and I am going to be a third year this upcoming year. I am a Sociology and Communication double major also pursuing a Spanish minor and the Technology Management certificate as well as the Business Communication and Law certificate! I am originally from Sacramento, CA and my favorite part about Greek Life is how unified the Greek community is as a whole, and how it has given me an incredible support system of amazing women that have my back no matter what. I spent this past summer studying abroad in Alcalá, Spain working on my Spanish, I have two adorable dogs that are my whole life, I love to laugh and to make others laugh, and I love exploring SB, shopping, and eating yummy food!

Hey everyone, I’m Bailey! I’m from Modesto, California and I’m going into my third year as an English major with a minor in education! I’m the happiest hanging with my sisters or listening to music, and I love reading books whenever I have free time! My favorite part of Greek life is how I can still feel at home with my sisters even though my family is so far away, and I’m so excited to help you all find your own home away from home!

I'm a 4th year Psychology major, minoring in both Education and Applied Psychology. My hometown is a small town in southern California called Yucaipa. I love to workout at Corepower Yoga and go eat brunch with my friends in downtown Santa Barbara! One thing I love about greek life is the all the opportunities you have through being in a sorority. Whether it be the opportunity to make a change through philanthropy, or an opportunity for leadership within your chapter, or networking for job opportunities in the future, being in a sorority has so many benefits for both yourself and the community surrounding you.

I am a fourth year Psychology major with a minor in Applied Psych! I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Joining Greek life was a great experience for me and introduced me to so many people I would not have otherwise met. Greek life has given me so many career, social, and academic opportunities. My favorite part about Greek life is constantly being surrounded by smart, fun and driven girls. Outside of school and Greek life I love to travel and hike!

My name is Jordan! I will be a third year Biopsychology major and I'm from Roseville, California. I never regret my decision to join greek life, because I have truly found some of my best friends, and all the opportunities it has opened up for me. I love retail therapy, traveling, hiking and discovering new places and things. Something interesting about me is my hobbies, which include collecting movies! I'm so excited for this coming recruitment year!

Hi! My name is Vicky and I’m a 4th year Political Science major from Ontario. I am so excited to be a Rho Gam for Fall Recruitment. I like to eat (who doesn’t), sleep (college is tiring), and my friends will tell you that I start dancing randomly when my favorite song comes on. Chances are if you’re reading this, you’re considering Greek Life so let me reassure you by saying: DO IT! As someone who is very involved in their chapter, I can say that the Greek community has made my college experience some of the best years of my life. I met my forever friends and future bridesmaids through this system, so if that doesn’t give you incentive, I don’t know what will! You will meet some of the most intelligent, hilarious, and all around best human beings through this process and make memories that will last a lifetime…I know I did! Best of luck to all of you and I can’t wait to help you find your home here at UCSB.

I'm a third year Psychological and Brain Sciences major from a small town in Connecticut. I loved joining Greek life because it gave me a home away from home in a place 3,000 miles away from where I grew up. I am a fast food and boybands fanatic and enjoy spending as much time as possible trying to convert my sorority sisters from Starbucks to Dunkin' Donuts.

I'm a third year sociology major from Huntington Beach, CA. I love greek life because it's a smaller community of people you can call your friends in such a big school. It's great way to meet new people, in and outside of your house and make lifelong connections. I like to enjoy a nice cold Coca Cola and I used to run a 1D fan account back in the day.

I'm a third year communications major from Hermosa Beach, CA! I love greek life at UCSB because of it's ability to bring students closer together and give them a great network of friends and support. I also love scuba diving, and in my free time I go on lots of fun dive trips all over California!

Hey, I’m Samantha, but everyone calls me Sammie! I’m going into my fourth year here at UCSB as a Biology major. I am from the San Francisco East Bay area, but I am proud to call Santa Barbara my second home. When I’m not at the library studying, you can find me at the beach with my friends or at home binge-watching unsolved mysteries on YouTube. I love traveling, spontaneous adventures, hiking, attending music festivals and, of course, all things science! This summer, I spent six weeks studying in the beautiful Barcelona, but I’m excited to rejoin the real world and guide you all through the recruitment process. Joining Greek life my freshman year has made my college experience better than I could have ever imagined. I have found my lifelong friends, my support system and my study buddies!

I am a fourth year at UCSB and I'm majoring in communications and minoring in art history. Im from Temecula, CA. My favorite thing about greek like is having a group of girls that are always there to motivate and look after each other. One of my passions is traveling, which I got to pursue junior year when I studied abroad in Prague!

Hi, guys! My name is Alex and I am going into my fourth year at UCSB, pursuing a degree in Economics. I've moved around quite a bit, but currently my parents live in Houston, Texas and Fresno, CA!  You can often find me working at the Arbor- a convenience store on campus that you will soon find yourself frequently visiting for what's about to be your new favorite drink, Yerba Mate. In my free time, I am usually outside enjoying the beautiful Santa Barbara weather, or getting lost in hours of Youtube videos. Attending UCSB has given me amazing opportunities, including allowing me to travel abroad to Barcelona this past summer. However, my experience at UCSB would not have been the same without having gone through recruitment my first year. Joining Greek life has allowed me to make lifelong friendships and obtain experience through leadership positions, both of which have given me the support that I need to navigate my way through college. Going through recruitment is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I can't wait to help you guys find your own support system here at UCSB!

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a 4th year Mathematics major. I have moved around a lot but I consider New York my home. I love being in greek life for a number of reasons. One of which is the amazing community greek life creates. Greek life has provided me with a support system like no other. It has helped me to stay driven and motivated all while allowing me to have fun and be social. I love being apart of an organization that has given me endless opportunities not only in the present but also for my future.

Hi I'm Hollie! I'm from San Diego and am a fourth year (yikes) majoring in Economics and Accounting. My older sister was in a sorority, which influenced me to join greek life at a young age. I can easily say that my college experience would not be the same without the people I've met and the memories I've made. I never thought I could find so many girls in one organization to have such a strong and positive impact on my life. Being in a sorority is more than having lots of girl friends; it builds character and creates a sense of professionalism, responsibility, and togetherness among members. I have been able to benefit in many ways from going greek, and I can definitely say I have found my home away from home!

Hey everyone! My name is Riley and I am from Sonoma County, CA. I am a third year English major and Education minor here at UCSB. I plan on becoming a teacher when I graduate! These past few years at UCSB have gone by way too fast, and I've learned that these years are all abut making the most out of my experiences. I am so excited to be a Rho Gam this year and help other girls find their home just like I did.

Hi my name is Jenifer! I am a fourth year sociology student with aspirations to attend a medical school after graduation. One of my favorite aspects about being in Greek life is philanthropy, we all support great causes and I love how we all come together and have a great time while making a difference. In my free time you can find me weight training in the MAC, I have become passionate about my fitness over the past four years at college. Also I really love reading Nicholas Spark novels for that good cry or Mo Hayder for a binge read!

Hi hi! I'm Devin and I'm a fourth year majoring in sociology and minoring in Chinese.  I'm beyond excited to be a Rho Gam this fall! I have tons of hobbies which include too much Netflix, tons of animal vids on fb, tanning whenever possible, speaking Chinese way too often, and most of all, watching almost every sunset at sands. These past two years have flown by and if I've learned one thing it's to make the most of your experiences here at ucsb. For me, those experiences were in the Greek community and has provided lifelong friendships and so many memories and opportunities to be grateful for . I'm so excited to meet you guys and help you find your home away from homes !

Hi I'm Carly! I'm a senior from Los Angeles and currently majoring in Economics and Accounting. When I'm not studying, you will probably find me eating lots of food with my friends, catching up with all of my reality tv shows, going on morning runs to campus point, or driving through IV blasting Drake. I can 100% say that joining Greek Life has been the best decision I have made in college, and I'm sure you all will soon feel the same! Just knowing that I have a huge group of girls always there to hang out, show support, and constantly inspire me to try new things has made my college experience so amazing this far. Aside from all of the lifelong friendships I have made with the girls in my house, one of my favorite things about Greek Life is our unity. For example, we are always showing each other support and participating in each others philanthropies (I may or may not have been the philanthropy chair for my chapter) to raise money and awareness for so many deserving causes, which makes the Greek experience so much more rewarding. I am so excited for all of you to find your home, and join our UCSB Greek family!

I love being a part of Greek Life because it’s how I found all my best friends, and it’s been such a memorable part of my college experience!

I am a junior from Fresno, California and I am majoring in Biopsychology. I am the first person in my family to go Greek, but I have an identical twin sister who is also a member of a Panhellenic sorority here at UCSB! Hi! My name is Nicole, and I am going into my third year as a Communication major, Professional Writing Minor, and TMP certificate holder. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and moved to South Florida for my four years of high school. Joining Greek life has been one of the best decisions I made throughout my college career. I am a 4th year Psychology major with a minor in educational studies and applied psychology. My future goal is to become an elementary school teacher. I am from a VERY small town in San Diego county (think cows and chickens etc.) Joining Greek life was the best decision I made in college by far. It gave me a home away from home- not just within my sorority, but with the whole Panhellenic community. Throughout my past 3 years, I have been surrounded and supported  by the most successful and confident women I know. Some ~fun~ facts: I love yoga, sushi, sour candy and I have an obsession wth the best show ever created: New Girl!

Hi everyone! My name is Claire, and I'm a third year psychological brain sciences and philosophy double major from Redwood City, CA.  Because of the greek community at UCSB, I've made Isla Vista a home away from home.  Going greek has given me the opportunity to grow into the best version of myself by finding lifelong friends and being surrounded with people who constantly encourage me to step out of my comfort zone.  I'm so excited to meet all of you, and can't wait for you to find your home, just like I did.

Hi ladies, I’m Katherine! I’m from San Francisco and I’m a fourth year Film and Media Studies major. I transferred to UCSB last year from SMU in Dallas, Texas and it’s been one of the best decisions of my life. Joining my sorority’s chapter here at UCSB played a large role in making my first year as fulfilling and exciting as it was. While I may be relatively new to UCSB, I’m a seasoned vet when it comes to recruitment and sorority life. From my own rush experience four years ago, to all the girls I’ve mentored through it since then, I’m confident I’ll be able to help you have a positive experience and find the house you'll thrive in! Can’t wait to meet you all!

I'm a fourth year biopsychology major from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a dog lover, skier, and hot yoga enthusiast. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and getting East Beach Tacos with my friends.

Hi, I'm Sophia and I'm a 4th year History of Public Policy Major from Sunnyvale, California and aspire to pursue a career in public service. When I'm not attending meetings, Lobbying legislators, working for the UCSB Disabled Students Program, or in class I enjoy going to Caje and ordering Matcha Green Tea Lattes.

Hi! I’m a fourth year Communication major and (hopeful) Professional Writing minor. I’m a San Diego native, so Santa Barbara is an ideal place for me to spend my college years! Greek life has brought me to my forever friends and countless opportunities for personal growth. Hi guys! My name is Jasmin (but most people know me as Jazzy) and I’m a fourth year Communications major from the Bay Area! Although I’m technically an only child, I’ve found such incredible sisters in our Greek community. I know it sounds cheesy - but it’s true! Going Greek has truly shaped who I am and how my college experience has turned out, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to help you each of you on your journeys! Can’t wait to meet you!!

I'm Marin, a fourth year Biopsychology major from Camarillo, CA. Going into my last year at UCSB, I can say wholeheartedly that my college experience would not have been the same without the ladies I have met through recruitment. Greek life has given me the opportunity to meet so many people, form incredible friendships, and grow not only academically, but personally as well. A few fun facts about me are that I love enjoying time at the lake, spending time with my sisters, working out, and exploring the beach & new places!
